On September 20, 2024, regional competitions were held among students of higher and secondary educational institutions of the city of Uralsk in national sports (archery, togyzkumalak, audaryspak, Kazakh wrestling, tug of war, langa, arm wrestling, bes asyk, asyk atu, weight lifting).

Students of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University won prizes in various sports: bes asyk – 2nd place, togyzkumalak – 2nd place, audaryspak – 3rd place, Kazakh wrestling – 3rd place, langa – 1st place, tug of war – 2nd place.
