On April 2, 2025, WKITU students met with theologian of the Astana Center for the Study of Religions Arman Nurakhmetuly and theologian of the Resource Center for Information, Analytical and Youth Work of Uralsk Nauryzov Asylbek Zhanbolatuly. The purpose of the event was to contribute to the improvement of the spiritual and social education of students and a deep understanding of the role of the principle of secularism in society.
The seminar, which was held on the topic “The principle of secularism is a guarantee of the future of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, discussed the importance of the principles of secularism, the relationship between religion and the state, as well as issues of increasing the religious literacy of young people. During the seminar, students asked questions on the topic and received meaningful answers from specialists in the field of religion.
