On February 18, WKITU hosted an information and explanatory event on the mandatory development of a state educational grant by young specialists in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education”. More than 98% of students and undergraduates studying on the basis of a state educational grant participated in the discussion.

At the meeting, the leading specialist of JSC “Financial Center” Akzira Serikkali made a presentation, who spoke in detail about the rules of mandatory training for young professionals who studied on the basis of a state educational grant.

During the discussion, the specifics of three-year training for students and undergraduates studying at the expense of a state educational grant were touched upon, and the mechanism for allocating young professionals to work and sending them to Career Centers for accounting and further employment was also considered.

In addition, the meeting participants were informed of the cases and conditions under which graduates can be exempted from compulsory work or deferred from compulsory work in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and listed the category of persons who are exempt from the obligation to work, the proportionality of working out the time of their actual studies under the state educational order, reimbursement of expenses incurred by budget funds, commensurate with the period actually worked out.

The students took an active part in the event, asked questions about the development of the grant to the leading specialist of JSC “Financial Center” Akzira Serikkali, to which they received clear answers.
