October 24 the meeting entitled “Issues of prevention of involvement in non-traditional religious movements” was organized at the Pedagogical faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovative – Technological University. The event was attended by students of the 1,2,3 courses and faculty of the Pedagogical faculty.

The problem raised at the meeting is highly relevant at the present time. In his message to the people, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan referred to the state program on Countering religious extremism and terrorism, for 2017-2020.

In order to discuss this issue, several guests of the meeting were invited: Abdrashit Abdrasul Armanuly – religious studies specialist of the Department for religious affairs of the West Kazakhstan region, Sarieva Ulday Kaboshkyzy – head of the public found “ARUANA-Zhaiyk”  , Mustafin Serik Kairatovich – naib-imam of mosque after Tulbaev Mohammed-Garif , Sidakhmetov Serik Eltaevich – the curator for religious affairs of the pedagogical faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovation-Technological University.
