On October 3-4, employees of the Registration Office and IT specialists of the WKITU took part in the regular VIII conference of Registrar’s Offices at Nazarbayev University (Astana).

84 universities of the country took part, as well as colleagues from educational departments from two universities of foreign countries (Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan).

This conference helped bring together colleagues from all academic departments in the field of higher education, including the Registrar’s Office, the Academic Advising Department and the IT Department for Educational Process Support. Academic issues such as:

– digitalization and artificial intelligence in education;

– integration with the EHEA/NOBD;

– issues of interaction between universities and the Financial Center

-registration and schedule of disciplines (online/block registration for disciplines, IUP development, catalog of disciplines, etc.);

-statistics and reports (standard reporting, EUVO, etc.);

-student information system (Platonus, Univer, SAP, Banner, transition between systems);

-the relationship between the OR and the Departments of universities;

-registrar’s Office management, office management, job optimization, career in the Registrar’s Office, professional development;

– Student Service Center (experience in the work of the Central Educational Institution and an internal platform for registration and schedules);

This platform provided a unique opportunity to discuss topical issues and share experiences with colleagues both at the national and international levels.
