On December 19, 2025, the II Forum of Graduates and Trustees of the Institute was held in the academic building of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology.

The purpose of the forum is to meet graduates of the institute’s period of operation, provide an opportunity for informal communication and rally like-minded graduates around the institute, who strive to keep in touch with each other and with the institute, who value the traditions of the educational institution, and who want and can contribute to the full and comprehensive development of the institute and the university as a whole.

The Forum was attended by more than 70 graduates from different years of graduation, who today occupy key positions in various industries, government agencies, law enforcement agencies, science, politics and education, as well as current students of all courses and specialties.

The tasks that the Alumni Forum solved are as follows:

– summing up the results of the Association’s work in the 2024-2025 academic year of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of ZKITU

• election of Board members of the Alumni Association of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU
• Participation of members of the Institute’s Alumni Association in the selection of organizations for professional practice by students of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU
• assistance in the work of youth career guidance and their employment;
• involvement of employers in the preparation of new educational programs;
• assistance in the professional training of students.

Over the 25-year history of its operation, the Institute of Industrial Technologies has achieved high performance in various areas, including in terms of the number of students. At the moment, more than 5,700 students are studying at the Institute of Industrial Technologies of WKITU alone, and a total of 10,950 students are studying at the university. In terms of the number of students, WKITU occupies a leading position among universities in the western region of the country.

The large-scale association of professionals within the framework of the Forum gives an impetus to the exchange of interesting expert opinions, the emergence of new initiatives and projects, and the discussion of important issues of economics and business, science and education.
