On December 17, 2025, the Youth Palace in Uralsk hosted a solemn event of the Department of the Penal Correction System for the West Kazakhstan Region in connection with the celebration of the Day of Employees of the Penal System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 13, which was celebrated for the first time this year according to the order of the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General of Police Sadenov E.S.

The solemn event was attended by veterans of the service, the leadership and staff of the DUIS, as well as invited guests, including teachers and students of the Department of Law of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the WKITU. The event began with the presentation of a new book about the history of the creation and service of all generations of DUIS employees in the West Kazakhstan region to the present.

 The National flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan was brought into the hall by a znamenny group of DUIS employees and the National Anthem of our country was performed by everyone. A large group of veterans and service personnel were awarded state and departmental awards, Letters of thanks from the Akim of the West Kazakhstan region.

On behalf of the faculty of the WKITU, the staff of the DUIS was congratulated on their Professional holiday by Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Candidate of Law, veteran of the Department of Internal Affairs, Colonel of Police in reserve T. Rakhmetov, who, on behalf of the rector of the WKITU Shakeshev B.T

On his behalf, he presented a Welcome address to the head of the Department of Justice for the West Kazakhstan Region, Colonel of Justice B.I. Akshalov. In his speech, the professor noted and thanked the staff of the Department of Justice for active cooperation with the University within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation on the issue of joint training of future lawyers, these are scheduled guest lectures, practice-oriented classes and excursions in the departments of the Department of Justice, internship by students and examples of graduates’ employment in this law enforcement agency. The solemn event ended with a bright festive concert, where DUIS employees and their children performed. Of course, this event made a great impression and the future lawyers liked it.
