An advisory session dedicated to World AIDS Day was held at the Department of Veterinary and Technosphere Safety. The main goal of the event was to instill in young people a commitment to a healthy lifestyle, a responsible attitude toward their own health, and an active civic position on pressing social issues.

The event was attended by specialists from the State Communal Enterprise on the Right of Economic Management (GKP na PHV) “Regional Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control” of the West Kazakhstan Region Health Department – assistant epidemiologist Lyazzat Temirbekovna Baymukhanova and educator Bakhytgul Burambayevna Galimgalieva. They provided the students with detailed information on HIV transmission and prevention, the effects of the virus on the human body, and the current epidemiological situation.

Additionally, the meeting was attended by the head of the youth center “Zhashtar,” Aziza Baurzhanovna Zarifova, who shared information about the center’s work promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people. She encouraged the students to use their time effectively, be socially active, and avoid harmful habits.

During the session, the students asked questions about HIV prevention and received comprehensive answers from the specialists. The event was organized at a high level and sparked great interest among participants. Such meetings contribute to improving the medical literacy of young people and fostering a culture of healthy living in society.
