On February 10, 2026, at the initiative of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety, Associate Professor, PhD, Dosmukan Ermukanovich Gabdullin from the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Agrotechnologies of Zhanagir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University was invited to deliver a lecture on the subject “Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology” for students of the 6B09103 “Veterinary Medicine” educational program.

The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the importance of systematically conducting diagnostic studies in the field of veterinary pharmacology and toxicology. In addition, the lecture covered the effective and safe use of pharmaceuticals in cases of highly dangerous animal diseases, the identification of toxic substances’ effects, and ways to prevent them, contributing to the country’s epizootic safety. These areas play a crucial role in preventing diseases shared by animals and humans, as well as protecting public health.

During the lecture, the invited specialist shared practical examples, discussed challenges in the veterinary profession, and provided recommendations to future veterinary specialists, sharing his professional experience.
