On December 4, 2025, the Department of Petroleum Engineering hosted another guest lecture with the participation of Azamat Mendygalievich Kusainov, Deputy Chief Geologist of “ZhaiykMunai” LLP. The lecture was dedicated to the topic: “Tectonic Structure of the Pre-Caspian Lowland.”

During the presentation, the speaker focused on the current state of the Chinarevskoye field and modern geophysical methods for well investigations. The audience showed particular interest in the presentation of newly discovered oil and gas reservoirs at this field.

The event was informative and engaging: students actively participated in discussions, asked relevant questions, and explored the prospects of future geological exploration.
