On May 2, 2025, at the Department of Transport and Technology, among the students of the educational programs 6B07104 Technological Machines and equipment; 6B11301 Organization of transportation, movement and operation of transport; 6B07101 Transport, transport equipment and Technologies, a seminar was held dedicated to the relatives of students who participated in the Great Patriotic War. The event is aimed at preserving the memory of the heroic past through personal family stories. Students prepare stories in advance about their great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers who took part in the fighting, worked in the rear, survived the blockade or helped the front.

During the lesson, the children tell stories about the exploits of their relatives, show family heirlooms: letters, photographs, awards. These personal testimonies help to better understand the scale of the tragedy and the greatness of the people’s feat. Special attention is paid to how the memory of veterans is preserved in each family and why it is important to pass this memory on to the next generations.

After the presentations, there was a general discussion, during which the students shared their impressions and feelings.

The history of Victory is not only the pages of textbooks, but also the fate of our relatives, whose memory lives in our families and hearts.

We would like to express our special gratitude to PhD, Associate Professor H.T. Turlybaev for organizing and conducting the seminar!
