On April 30, 2025, for students and lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, senior lecturers Zhumagulova G.A. and Sultanov A.B. organized an educational event “Let’s bow to great years” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
This educational event was attended by students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd courses of EP 6B01101-Pedagogy and Psychology and 6B03101-Psychology. The purpose of the event was to expand students’ understanding of the Great Patriotic War; to cultivate respect for the heroic past of the country, to awaken sympathy for the older generation.
The event began with an opening speech by senior lecturer Zhumagulova G.A. about the contribution of our compatriots and countrymen to the victory over the enemy. Senior lecturer Sultanov A.B. held a quiz “Svoya igra” “For Victory Day” with students, in which students demonstrated high knowledge of events, dates and names.
Then the students gave presentations about their great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers, who were veterans of the front and the rear. Through their performances, the students showed a sense of pride and gratitude to their heroically brave and courageous relatives. A film discussion of films about the Great Patriotic War was also held with the students. The students shared their impressions of the plot, the events, made psychological portraits of the characters they liked and presented them to the guests of the event.
