On October 13, 2023, the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies organized an educational event dedicated to Republic Day. The purpose of the event: to instill in students feelings of patriotism and love for their Motherland, for their history, to develop interest in the past and present of their homeland.

Republic Day is a bright holiday designed to elevate the spirit of the people, strengthen statehood, strengthen our unity and solidarity. “We have begun to build a fair Kazakhstan. This lofty goal can only be achieved with the active participation of all Kazakhstanis, because the main support and greatest wealth of the state are citizens,” emphasized Head of State K.-Zh. K. Tokaev. Republic Day is a national holiday in Kazakhstan. Any self-respecting person should know the history of his country, the history of his people. We need to always remember the words of our President: “In this world we have only one Motherland – this is Kazakhstan.”

The educational event featured patriotic songs, terme, poems, and folk dances. Students from PD-111,311, IYA-111, KDR-111,311, PIMNO-111, PS-111 took part in the event. The head of the department Kussainova D.Zh. summed up the results of the festive event.
