As part of the “Nauryznama” concept, on March 18 – “National clothes Day” faculty, staff and students of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University came to work in national costumes and modern stylized clothing and traditional accessories.

From the first day of Nauryz, university staff and students began to use national clothes in everyday life.

Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Kemeluly, at a meeting of the National Kurultai held yesterday in Atyrau, especially noted the importance of introducing the “Day of National Clothes” and said: “Other people should recognize a Kazakh by his clothes. We must be careful not to imitate others, become overly religious, or become detached from our traditions.”

Vice-rector for educational work of WKITU Abekeshev A.I. congratulated on the Nauryz holiday, noting that students should know, honor and promote national values (national clothes) in everyday life.
