An industrial tour for students serves as a form of visual acquaintance with equipment and technology, production organization, labor content, working conditions, etc. Basically, an industrial tour is considered as a means of forming and developing students’ interest in their profession.

On March 19, 2024, a thematic excursion to the West Kazakhstan branch of the ZKF JSC “National Center for Expertise and Certification” related to the study of the discipline “Metrological support of production” was held for students of the OP “Standardization and Certification” (by industry).

The students were introduced to the activities of the center, which consists in providing services in the field of standardization, metrology, product certification, management systems, and the center also conducts product quality tests.

To consolidate the excursion impressions, students are invited to arrange the received materials and information data in the form of a presentation.

Systematic conducting of excursions is a necessary condition for the formation of students’ knowledge in the field of standardization and certification.
