On February 17, 2023, the National Institute of Intellectual Property “QAZPATENT” held a round table with the participation of representatives of regional local executive bodies and chambers of entrepreneurs, territorial bodies of justice, as well as entrepreneurs on the topic: “Legal protection of geographical indications and their role in the development of Kazakhstani brands.”

During the event, topical issues of protecting geographical indicators at the national and international levels were discussed. Special attention was paid to the creation and promotion of unique brands of Kazakhstani products, as well as the development of a promising direction that contributes to the sustainable socio-economic development of rural regions of the country.
