On August 26-27, 2025, the 5th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Current Issues of Power Supply Systems” was held at Islam Karimov Tashkent State Technical University.

The conference was attended by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering of the Institute of Sectoral Technologies, Lyazat Anatolyevna Sadykova, who presented a report on the challenges of power supply in the West Kazakhstan region.

The main purpose of the conference was to discuss current scientific and applied issues related to improving the reliability, energy efficiency, and sustainability of power supply systems in the context of digitalization, environmental challenges, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The conference addressed issues of optimal design and operation of power supply systems, ensuring power quality, and the introduction of intelligent technologies and digital solutions in the energy sector. Special attention was paid to the training of a new generation of engineering professionals.
