September 21, 2023 students of 1-2 courses of the educational program “Standardization and certification” (by industry) The West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Local History, founded in 1836, was visited by the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU.

 The purpose of visiting the museum is to form an emotional and personal attitude of students to the values of cultural heritage, to comprehend the world of culture through acquaintance with the originals of everything that defines the concept of “culture”.

The museum is located in a historical and architectural monument and is the oldest museum in Kazakhstan. built in the Moorish style, erected in 1879. The Russian-Kyrgyz (Kazakh) craft school was located here.

Museum content acts as a source of information for students about people and events that can affect emotionally, evoke a sense of belonging. The students got acquainted with the unique exhibits of the Golden Horde era, silver and gold products of the Saka tribes. Among the variety of exhibits of the Paleolithic and Bronze Age, monuments of the Andronovo culture, bronze cauldrons and mirrors, ceramic and pottery, grinding bars and finds from burial complexes of the Bronze and Iron Ages and much more aroused great interest.

Holding such events brings up students’ love for their native land and people who care about its prosperity, form patriotism and enrich the spiritual heritage of the generation.
