The organizer was Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Candidate of Law Rakhmetov T. Kh.

During the lesson, which took place on the territory of the university’s academic building, students were presented with a mobile forensic laboratory of the Operational Forensic Department of the West Kazakhstan Region. The police major spoke in detail about its purpose, functionality and role in the detection and investigation of crimes.

It was noted that the mobile forensic laboratory is used in the investigation of serious and especially serious crimes, including murders, robberies, large-scale theft, traffic accidents with human victims, as well as other incidents. It allows you to carry out the necessary forensic measures at any time of the day and under various weather conditions in the city and region.

Special attention was paid to the technical equipment of the laboratory. The students got acquainted with the contents of three investigative suitcases, including special powders, brushes, fingerprint films, magnifying glasses, flashlights, restrictive tape and other forensic tools. In addition, they were shown a metal detector, 3D shooting equipment, an autonomous lighting generator, a tent and a special awning to protect the scene from adverse weather conditions.

The practical part of the lesson aroused particular interest among the students. The criminologist demonstrated methods for detecting, fixing and removing traces of hands, shoes and vehicles, and also showed the use of a metal detector in the search for physical evidence. Students also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the equipment located directly inside the laboratory and see it in action.

At the end of the guest lecture, Police Major Gabdulov K. G. answered the students’ questions, shared his professional experience and wished future lawyers success in mastering their chosen specialty.

The event was attended by the head of the Department of Law, Zh.K. Tuleugalieva, and the faculty of the department.
