From May 12 to May 22, 2026, the Head of the Marketing and Pre-University Training Department of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, K.K. Zhaniyarov, carried out extensive career guidance activities in secondary schools and colleges of the Mangystau region and Aktau city. The main purpose of the visit was to assist graduates in choosing their future profession, explain the importance of higher education, and introduce students to the educational opportunities offered by the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University.
During the meetings, school and college students received comprehensive information about the specialties most in demand in today’s labor market, as well as explanations about the importance of making the right career choice for a successful future. In addition, participants were introduced to the university’s educational programs, modern teaching methods, international partnerships, academic mobility programs, scientific projects, and social support opportunities available to students
. K.K. Zhaniyarov held open discussions with graduates, talking about their interests, goals, and future plans. During the meetings, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed answers regarding specialty selection, educational grants, student life, dormitory accommodation, and tuition fees. As part of the career guidance campaign, applicants were provided with informational materials about the university’s advantages, quality of education, practical training opportunities, modern facilities, and highly qualified teaching staff.
Special attention was also paid to the importance of considering personal abilities and interests when choosing a profession. During the visit, school administrations and college management provided strong support, emphasizing the significance of such career guidance meetings for young people. All events were organized at a high level and generated great interest among graduates.
