High quality and affordable education is the foundation for the development of any society. Currently, in order for personnel to be in demand in the labor market, it is necessary to create conditions and promote their continuous training and development. Therefore, today’s education should not end with a diploma, it is necessary to constantly develop your skills throughout your life in order to maintain the required level of qualifications in the labor market. In this regard, non-formal education is an important part of learning and provides people with the opportunity to learn in various ways.
Our university is also engaged in professional development and retraining of personnel. The training programs of the advanced training and retraining courses of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of ZKITU have been developed taking into account innovations occurring in science, education, production, as well as the needs of the labor market, a competence-based approach to learning outcomes, the requirements of professional standards and the industry qualifications framework and are thus practice-oriented. From December 04 to 08, 2023, advanced training courses «Innovative methods in veterinary medicine for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of farm animals» were held on the basis of the department for managers and specialists of veterinary stations in Aktau and West Kazakhstan regions. A total of 15 trainees took part in the refresher courses.
Scientists of the department, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Baitlesov E.U., Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Absatirov G.G., Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kanatbayev S.G., Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor Dnekeshev A.K., who have quite significant scientific, practical and teaching experience, took part in conducting advanced training courses as tutors.
Advanced training courses were held at the Scientific Research Center of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, in specialized laboratories equipped with modern equipment. After each cycle of classes, discussions and an exchange of views took place. Following the results of the courses, the students were awarded certificates. Such courses have been approved by the students and will be continued in the future.
