On December 4, 2024, senior lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Kadyrzhanova Zh.E. and Amangeldieva B.N. participated in the training seminar “Addictive behavior in the youth environment”, organized by the state social order of the Department of Internal Policy of Uralsk on a social project implemented as part of the promotion of national values ​ ​ and history.

The seminar-training was conducted by an expert psychologist of the Republican Information and Explanatory Group of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shakimova L.S.

During the seminar-training, psychological, social and cultural factors influencing the formation of addictive behavior in the youth environment, chemical and biological, psychological, economic reasons influencing the formation of addictive behavior, which become relevant for modern society were discussed. Experience-based information about the features and meaning of family support, medical care, social work in the prevention of addictive behavior was presented.

The purpose of the training seminar is to explain comprehensive preventive work and early detection of addictive behavior in the youth environment, which requires support from society and the state.
