On October 1, 2026, students of the educational programs 6B07201 «Oil and Gas Engineering» and 6B11201 «Life Safety and Environmental Protection» visited the Museum of Nature and Ecology in Uralsk as part of an educational excursion. The purpose of the excursion was to expand students’ knowledge of nature and the environment, enhance their environmental awareness, and familiarize them with the natural features of their native region.

During the excursion, the students explored the museum’s exhibitions and learned about the natural resources of the West Kazakhstan region, its flora and fauna, as well as current environmental protection issues.

The students showed particular interest in information about the region’s natural heritage and the importance of caring for the environment. The excursion provided an opportunity to complement their theoretical knowledge with practical information and increase their interest in environmental protection, nature conservation, and the rational use of natural resources.

The educational event was held in an engaging and informative atmosphere, leaving students with positive impressions and new knowledge.
