West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University held a ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and World Teachers’ Day. The event brought together the University’s scholars, faculty members, staff, and students.
The first to congratulate the University community was Tuiakbai Zeitovich Rysbekov, Founder of West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In his address, he emphasised the special role of higher education in shaping society’s intellectual potential and noted that teaching is a highly respected profession requiring great responsibility, dedication, and perseverance. He also praised the University staff for their dedicated work in providing high-quality education, training qualified specialists, advancing research, and educating the younger generation in accordance with national values.
Tuiakbai Rysbekov wished all faculty and staff professional success, creative inspiration, new achievements, and prosperity. He also expressed his sincere hope that the University would continue to develop, strengthen its reputation, and reach new heights.
During the ceremony, Bekbolat Temirzhanovich Shakeshev, Rector of West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, Candidate of Technical Sciences, and Associate Professor, congratulated the University community on the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In his address, the Rector highly praised the dedicated work of the faculty members who make a significant contribution to the development of education and science while providing the younger generation with high-quality education and meaningful guidance.
As part of the celebration, departmental awards of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were formally presented to several faculty members who have worked successfully in higher education for many years and distinguished themselves through their professionalism and substantial contributions to the advancement of science and education. These awards represent clear recognition of the educators’ dedicated service and professional achievements.
Furthermore, a group of University faculty and staff members who have made a significant contribution to the development of education and achieved outstanding professional results received diplomas and letters of appreciation from the Akim of West Kazakhstan Region and the Akim of the city of Oral.
The awards were formally presented by Samal Amangeldinovna Mashanova, Acting First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Affairs, who warmly congratulated her colleagues on their well-deserved recognition.
The second part of the ceremony continued with a festive concert programme specially prepared for the Day of Higher Education Workers by the University’s talented faculty members and students.
During the concert, the University’s performers delighted the audience with beautiful songs, graceful dances, and impressive musical pieces played on traditional instruments. Melodious compositions performed by the vocal and instrumental ensemble, along with expressive recitations of literary works, enriched the programme and left a lasting impression on the audience.
Bringing together the creativity and performance skills of talented students and faculty members, the concert programme created a joyful atmosphere and added special splendour and solemnity to the celebration.
