On October 1, 2026, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering held a meeting with first- to fourth-year students. The meeting addressed important issues related to the organization of the educational process, the credit-based education system, academic integrity, and compliance with the university’s internal regulations.
The Head of the Department, G.E. Kalesheva, addressed the students with welcoming remarks. She emphasized the importance of a responsible attitude toward education, regular class attendance, compliance with established requirements, as well as active participation in the life of the department and the university.
A.K. Dzhubayalieva, Head of the Department of Academic Affairs, familiarized the students with the specifics of the credit-based education system, the procedure for registering for academic courses, the formation of an individual educational trajectory, and the completion of academic credits. Particular attention was paid to academic integrity, independent completion of academic assignments, compliance with requirements during ongoing and final assessments, as well as the rights and responsibilities of students.
At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive the necessary clarifications regarding the organization of the educational process.
The meeting was held in an open dialogue format and provided students with up-to-date information on academic requirements and the rules governing the university environment.
