As part of the educational programme, a meeting was held between students and the teaching staff and scientists from the Federal Research Centre for Biological Systems and Agrotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FRC BSА RAS), Orenburg.

The meeting was attended by Elena Vladimirovna Sheida, Head of the Department of Feeding of Farm Animals, Doctor of Biological Sciences, and Olga Vilorievna Kvan, Leading Researcher at the Department of Feeding of Farm Animals, Doctor of Biological Sciences.

Elena Vladimirovna presented material on the topic “Evolutionary Development and Structural and Functional Features of the Digestive Tract.” During the meeting, participants discussed modern scientific approaches and innovative research methods in the field of farm animal nutrition, as well as prospects for their practical application.

The scientists also spoke about the activities of the FRC BSА RAS and presented the work and research areas of the Laboratory of Biological Testing and Expertise, introducing the participants to current scientific research.

The meeting was held in the format of an open professional dialogue, bringing together students, teaching staff and representatives of modern agricultural science.
