On the 27th of March, 2026, to promote respect for the national symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan and promote their meaning and significance, Kalenova Zh.M., a lecturer in the Department of General Education, ITI, organized and conducted an intellectual quiz. First-year students of the EP “Architecture” participated in the quiz on the topic “National Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” The event began with the performance of the national anthem.

During the quiz, questions were asked about the Flag, Emblem, and Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and students had the opportunity to test their knowledge. Participants demonstrated their knowledge of the symbols’ authors, the time of their adoption, their meaning, and their features. In addition, logical and creative tasks were offered, assessing participants’ thinking skills and ingenuity.

The event was very interesting and engaging.

As a result, the participants’ respect for national symbols increased and their knowledge of their meaning expanded. Events like these play an important role in fostering a sense of patriotism among young people. The quiz was held at a high level and fully achieved its goals.
