On October 17, within the framework of the memorandum of Cooperation concluded between WKITU and the prosecutor’s Office of the West Kazakhstan region, under the work plan of the Department of law, a guest lecture was held for students of 2,3 and 4 courses on law 06B04202, senior assistants of the prosecutor’s Office of the West Kazakhstan region, senior adviser of Justice Kapezov K. zh. and the head of the personnel service on the topic “prosecutorial supervision in criminal and civil proceedings Nursultanova D. E
The guest lecture was held in the new lecture hall No. 7 of the Department of Law, located in the academic building at 137/1 Zhenis street .In the first semester, the lecturers for students in the disciplines “law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “professional ethics of a lawyer and anti-corruption culture”, “prosecutor’s supervision” revealed in detail the topics of the role, duties and powers of employees of the prosecutor’s office in criminal and civil proceedings in accordance with the code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was noted how the main task of the prosecutor is to monitor the accurate and uniform implementation of the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan in practice.
he guests also spoke about the features of entering and passing the service in the prosecutor’s office. The prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan showed videos about the selection of candidates for positions and passing special training. Employees of the prosecutor’s office answered all the questions of students and invited them to undergo an internship for admission after graduation at WKITU.
At the end of the lecture ,Professor Ph. D. T. H. Rakhmetov, on behalf of teachers and students of the law department, thanked the staff of the prosecutor’s office for the informative and interesting guest lecture, wished them success in their activities and further fruitful cooperation with the University. The guests got acquainted with the material and technical base of the Department.
