On May 5, as part of the action plan dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University held the event “80 years of the Great Victory: stories, destinies, edification”, to which the head of the Manshuk Mametova Memorial Museum, a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the holder of the the badge of the “Best local historian” Batyrkhanov Akhmediyar Kuanovich.
During the event, Akhmediyar Kuanovich delivered in detail about the feat of the country during the Great Patriotic War, about the fate and history of war veterans, shared details about the work of the museum and the life of Manshuk Mametova. In addition, he held a conversation with young people and answered their questions about historical consciousness and patriotism. The event was actively attended by students and lecturers of the university, where important opinions were expressed about historical values and patriotic education.
