On December 6, 2024, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, volleyball competitions were held with the organization of the Barys Sports Club and the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University in order to strengthen friendship between students.

Students of the Institute of Education and Management, the Institute of Industry Technologies and the team of the University School “Zein” participated in the competition.

According to the results of the competition among girls’ teams, the team of the Institute of Industry Technologies won the 3^rd place, the team of the University School “Zein” won the 2^nd place and the team of the Institute of Education and Management won the 1^st place.

In the men’s competition, the team of the Institute of Education and Management (the 2^nd team) won the 3^rd place, the team of the Institute of Industry Technologies won the 2^nd place and the team of the 3^rd year of the EP “Physical training and Sports” of the Institute of Education and Management won the 1^st place.

As a result of the event, friendly relations between students of the university institutes and school students were strengthened.
