On October 21, 2024, in the assembly hall of the WKITU, at a meeting with representatives of the Police Department of WKR, the most pressing issues of modern society were discussed – crimes among minors and Internet fraud. Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department of the PD of WKR, police colonel Musagaliev Artur Gaisyevich, operative officer of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the PD of WKR, police colonel Murzabaeva Elmira Zhaksylykovna revealed the types of Internet fraud, their prevalence and basic schemes, consequences for society and the state, methods of cybersecurity and methods of protection against fraud on the network, as well as the role of the state in the fight against crime in the Internet space.

The district police inspectors of the Juvenile Police Group of the OMPS Abai PD of Uralsk, police captain Akhmetova Aida Gadylbekovna and senior police lieutenant Kurmanalina Aida Kaziyevna explained the peculiarities of illegal actions committed by minors, responsibility and irreversible consequences. The meeting was organized by teachers of the Department of History and Law.
