On September 10, 2024, an open lecture by leading ethnographer, senior researcher at the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera), Candidate of History Inga Vladimirovna Stasevich was organized and held at the Department of History and Law at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University.
In her lecture, Inga Vladimirovna analyzed the history of the formation of the Kazakh collection of the St. Petersburg Kunstkamera, spoke about the museum’s scientific research related to the history of Kazakhstan ethnography.
The lecture was attended by the university’s faculty, magistrands and students. The lecture aroused great interest among the audience. During the lecture, comprehensive answers were received to many questions on the problems of the historical and ethnographic development of Kazakhstan, covered in the St. Petersburg museum.
