February 2, a significant event was held for the staff and students of our university – a meeting of the leadership of the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan region with the Founder, Rector, faculty and students of the Department of Law. During the event, a memorandum was signed that formalized the partnership between the two organizations.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Head of the department, Police Colonel, Candidate of Law Orazaliev Arman Moldiyarovich. He expressed his gratitude to the students for their interest and desire to cooperate in the field of law enforcement. He stressed the importance of the active participation of young people in solving social problems and gave examples of the successful work of our graduates, who have proven themselves as excellent law enforcement officers.

Then campaigning work was carried out, during which representatives of the department told students about the possibilities of service in the internal affairs bodies. The advantages of working in the police were described in detail. Representatives of the internal affairs bodies of the department also noted the opportunities for career growth and professional development that are provided within the organization.

Completing the campaigning work, the members of the department presented invitations for practical training in the police to students in the educational programs 6B04202 “Jurisprudence”, 6B04203 – “Legal regulation of transportation, traffic and operation of transport” B04207 Judicial and prosecutorial activities showing them that joining the police can be a worthy choice for their future professional career. The students were supported in their desire to serve the community and the people of their area.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan region signed a memorandum of cooperation with the university. This event symbolized the strengthening of the partnership between the police and the university in training and supporting future law enforcement professionals. The Memorandum provides for cooperation in the following areas:

– exchange of analytical, statistical and legal information;

– publication and exchange of materials on jointly conducted scientific research;

– joint organization and holding of symposiums, seminars, scientific and practical conferences, round tables, teleconferences, etc.;

– internship, advanced training of faculty and staff;

– joint development of educational and methodical literature;

– attracting highly qualified specialists to read individual courses of lectures, to conduct final certification of educational programs of the university

– conducting practice-oriented classes on the basis of the institution;

– passing of professional practices of students.

Arman Moldiyarovich presented the jubilee medal “30 years of the Kazakh police” to the Founder of the ZKIT Bozym Kazybai Karaevich, Chairman of the advisory body for active cooperation with the internal affairs bodies. Also, the medals “105 years of the criminal investigation service” were awarded to the senior lecturer of the Department of Law, Candidate of Law Sciences, veteran of the internal affairs bodies, retired police Colonel T. Rakhmetov, and retired police Lieutenant Colonel A.M. Tauzhanov. The medal “100 years of public order protection” was awarded to the senior lecturer of the Department of Law, retired police Lieutenant Colonel E.A. Karagoishiev.

The end of the meeting left a positive impression on both sides. University students felt the support and interest from police officers, and representatives of the Department were impressed by the enthusiasm and interest of young people in working in the field of law enforcement. This moment marked the beginning of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at ensuring the security and prosperity of our region.
