23.01.24, a meeting of the Faculty of the Department of Law with representatives of employers took place within the framework of the work of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the West Kazakhstan Region, at which issues of amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed. The staff of the department got acquainted with the latest changes in labor legislation and discussed their impact on the activities of various organizations. The innovations introduced into labor relations, as well as the principles and mechanisms of their application and the rules and conditions for concluding electronic labor contracts were considered. The participants discussed the possibilities of using electronic employment contracts in modern conditions and the process of their conclusion. Examples of the practical application of this form of employment contracts were also presented.
Special attention was paid to explaining active employment measures. Employers received information about the types of active employment measures provided by the State and their implementation mechanisms. The main conditions and requirements for participation in active employment programs were outlined. Also during the meeting, the faculty of the Department of Law discussed the issues of professional training of law students according to the opinion of representatives of employers. Employers shared their vision of what skills and competencies it is desirable to develop in future lawyers. The requirements for the professional training of lawyers based on the experience and needs of employers were outlined.
