On November 8, for students of the 3rd year of OP 6B07102 – “Electric Power Engineering” in the Ural branch of the Transformer Plant, under the guidance of teachers of the Department of “Power Engineering, Automation and Computer Engineering” assoc. professor Doctor PhD V.P. Zkharov and senior lecturer M.T.N. Buranova conducted a field practice-oriented lesson on the discipline “Electric machines”.

The purpose of the trip is to familiarize students with the production processes at the plant with the use of a transformer and an asynchronous motor (AD), calculation methods, as well as to give an idea of the modern types and technical characteristics of the transformer. During the practical lesson, the students received answers to all their questions.

The students received an initial safety briefing on the spot. The director of the production department, N.I. Usmanov, conducted a short tour of the plant, the students learned about the history of the origin and ways of development of a modern competitive domestic enterprise, the range of products and equipment used, as well as new promising technologies of the company.
