On April 20, 2022, students of the educational program history, law enforcement activities of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University met with the head of the memorial Museum of M. Mametova of the Department of the History and Local History Museum of the West Kazakhstan Region, local historian Akhmediyar Kuanovich Batyrkhanov. The main goal of the evening is to form the historical consciousness of the student youth through the inauguration of the feat of heroes who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, through honoring the unprecedented feat of the Kazakh people, propaganda of the heroism of heroes who left an indelible mark.

During his personal searches, Akhmediyar Kuanuly told about the copies of personal cards of fellow countrymen who died during the Great Patriotic War in camps for prisoners of war and soldiers who served in the Turkestan Legion during the war, who were captured by the enemies, about the fates that befell him. Read excerpts from letters with poems of many soldiers who went missing at the front. During the evening, students asked various questions to the local historian and there was a sincere conversation. At the end of the evening , Akhmediyar Batyrkhanov noted: We must show the younger generation the heroic deeds of our ancestors. In this regard, the exemplary lifestyle of our heroes is an example of moral and patriotic education of modern youth. Patriotism begins with respect for family, native environment, nature. Only those who love their nation, their land, mourn for it and mourn it can become a true patriot,” he addressed the students of the meeting with words of parting words.
