On December 9, 2021, at 10.00 o’clock, the Department of the Anti-Corruption Service of the West Kazakhstan Region held a republican conference dedicated to December 9 – the International Anti-Corruption Day.

The conference was attended by members of the volunteer club “Sanaly Urpak” of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology.

The purpose of the conference is the moral and civil-patriotic education of young people, responsibility, initiative, as well as the promotion and formation of an anti-corruption worldview, the implementation of anti-corruption policy, the formation of integrity among students, anti-corruption culture.

The head of the republican office of “Sanaly Urpak”, public figure Tokushev K. A. made a report on the topic “Anti-corruption: problems requiring solutions”.

During the speech, Kayyrzhan Akhmetbekovich-explaining to students that corruption manifestations restrain not only the socio-economic sphere of society, but also spiritual development, which, first of all, affects the future of our country-youth, it is necessary to educate young people for honesty, starting from school age and until graduation, about the consequences of threats arising from corruption manifestations, called on teachers and students to observe honest, fair, simple, ethical norms in communication.
