The X Republican subject olympiad among the students by specialty 5B070800-Oil and Gas Business passed on 3-4 April, 2018 in Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt ata.

The Olympiad purpose is to assess the quality of training students, the disclosure of professional and personal and creative potential of students, stimulate students’ interest for the future profession, increase the prestige of educational institutions, identify the most talented students.

The Olympiad was held in two stages: the execution of test task and solution of practical problems. It was given 2 hours for the participants to complete the tasks. Theoretical and practical knowledge of students in special disciplines and the speed of tasks were taken into account when assessing the results.

The participants’ works of the Olympiad were evaluated by the expert commission, which included the leading instructors of Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt ata.

Participation in the Olympiad was attended by 18 students from Aktyubinsk Regional State University named after K.Zhubanov, Aktobe University named after S.Baishev, Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh.Esenov (Aktau), the Caspian Public University (Almaty), West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University named after Zhangir Khan (Uralsk), Kyzylorda State University named after Khortyt ata and West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University (Uralsk).

Our university group ND-32 students Kiyashevskaya Elena and Musiyeva Oksana took part under the supervision of senior instructor Kalesheva Gulmira Ermukhambetovna As a result of the Olympiad, Elena Kiyashevskaya took the 3rd place.

Other participants of the Olympiad, scientific supervisors of students, as well as University Rectors were awarded with letters of thanks. Well done oil men – keep it up !!!
