The week of science and creativity was held in the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University from 8 to 12 April, 2019 within the framework of the International festival “Young researchers – the future of Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the Year of youth in Kazakhstan. April 11 the Department of History and SDH held a historical and educational contest “Seven facets of the Great steppe”. The competition was held to emphasize the spiritual and moral significance of historical and sacred sites in Kazakhstan and to emphasize their importance in local lore.

The competition was attended by students of the pedagogical faculty, the faculty of languages ​​and management, the engineering-technological faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovative-Technological University, the students of the WKSU after M. Utemisov, students of Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems and the Republican Higher technical college.

According to the requirements of the competition, it was necessary to prepare a presentation in the form of a slide and present a brief information on the topic of the competition. According to the results of the competition, the best students were awarded diplomas.
