    On September 1, on the basis of the Pedagogical Faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, the administration and the teaching staff of the team gathered to view and discuss the appeal of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan.

    The goal is to promote the strategy for the further development of our country, to make the younger generation understand socio-economic stability in the current difficult situation, innovations in healthcare and expected changes in the field of education. In his speech, the rector of the university, Ph.D., professor Shakeshev B.T. presented the main directions of the mission and named specific tasks. One of the priorities in the message noted by the President of the country is the state of the education system, which plays a decisive role in increasing the potential of the nation.

    I am deeply convinced that teachers will play a decisive role in building a Just Kazakhstan. In recent years, the state has done a lot to increase the attractiveness of this profession. However, positive changes are still required in this direction. It is necessary to adopt a new standard for the accreditation of pedagogical universities and develop a framework of teacher competencies.

    About supporting the course of the President of the country that our strength is in the education of young people. As part of these initiatives, various state support measures will be integrated. They will become clear and, most importantly, targeted and proactive. Comprehensive support for young people is one of our absolute priorities, said the honored veteran of education, Doctor of Philology, Professor A.M. Musaev.

    In addition, the faculty discussed the main principles of the President’s Address and shared their opinions. At the end of the meeting, the university staff unanimously supported the appeal of the head of state, taking into account that each of the mentioned areas is very important.
