One of the largest faculties of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology, opened in September 2015, is the Faculty of Education. The faculty trains specialists in the pedagogical and legal fields. For many years, the faculty has been headed by a well-known scientist in the country, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Professor B.S. Dzhumakayeva, since 2021, the dean of the faculty is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor M. K. Azhgaliyev.

The Pedagogical Faculty holds events on the exchange of experience with leading educational institutions of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, including Samara State University, Samara Pedagogical University, Orenburg State University. Saratov Pedagogical University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky, Vilnius University “Mikolas Romeris”, the Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship named after P. Lulumba, etc. A well-deserved achievement was the establishment of international scientific and practical relations with leading universities of the near and far abroad.
Today, the Pedagogical Faculty is aimed at improving the national system of continuing education, reflecting the level of development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Pedagogical faculty considers the modernization of continuing professional education, the improvement of the educational process through the introduction of new information and advanced technologies, the integration of science and practice, the formation of creativity of teachers and students to be the main directions of its development.
The goal of the university is to become a new type of university, a university of the XXI century, which will train specialists in accordance with the requirements of the time.
