On April 13-14, 2026, the II stage of the XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad on the educational program 6B11201 Life safety and environmental protection in the discipline “Fire safety” was held in Shymkent on the basis of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.

Students of OP 6B11201 Life safety and Environmental Protection of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology Timofey Chaynikov and Armat Spashev successfully participated in the Olympiad and won the third prize (head of the senior lecturer of the Department of VITB, Master of Sciences Zhumagaliev I.K.).
