Students of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University actively participate in the republican environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”, which started in the country on behalf of the head of state. Today, students of the educational institution cleaned the territory of the dormitories where they live from garbage. “Patience and work will grind everything down,” so the young people took hoes and shovels in their hands and, in high spirits, began cleaning and landscaping the surrounding area of their dormitories and academic building, painting benches, whitewashing borders and decorating flower arrangements.

The contribution of this action to the development of environmental culture in society, love for the nature of the native land, and the education of patriotism among young people is enormous, since respect for the native land begins with caring for the environment. This nationwide campaign will last until the end of May. WKITU students plan to expand the scope of the action in the coming week and take part in planting seedlings in parks and squares of the city.
