On November 20, 2023, as part of the World AIDS Day campaign, medical workers held a meeting with students of WKITU.

Currently, the number of registered HIV-infected people is growing, especially among young people. No preliminary vaccine or drugs have been found against this infection that completely cleanse the human body of the virus. It is important to increase awareness of adolescents and young people about HIV infection and its impact on human life, eliminate stigma and developmental defects, and improve the quality of life of people living with HIV.

During the meeting, the head of the youth center, doctor Gulnara Sarsengalievna Nigmetova showed a video “On AIDS Prevention” and delivered an informative lecture.
