On December 5, 2024, the advisors of the Department of General Education Disciplines of the Industrial Technology Institute Isagulova T.R., Kayyrzhanov K.B., Sultangalieva A.A., Mametanova S.T. organized a meeting and conversation with a specialist of the regional center for the prevention of HIV infections Umbetova Gulnara Kimovna. During the conversation, a presentation on the topic “What is HIV, HIV infection and AIDS?” was demonstrated. HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is the virus that causes AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). This virus is transmitted from one person to another through blood or as a result of sexual contact. HIV affects the human immune system, which is responsible for fighting infection. Of particular interest was watching the video “Attention. Casual relationships are dangerous.”
