On April 1, 2025, the Finance and Economics Department of WKITU organized the StartUPWKITU-2025 startup projects competition as part of the Science Week. The aim of the competition is to popularize financial literacy and entrepreneurship, reveal the creative potential of students in the field of business, and identify gifted student youth.
20 business projects of 3rd-4th year students and 2nd year magistrands of the Institute of Education and Management of WKITU were presented at the competition. The participants presented interesting business ideas for various types of activities: from the production of tea cups with tea inside to the creation and maintenance of a mining farm.
As a result of the competition, 1st place was awarded to a 3rd year student of the educational program 6B04106–Finance Gabdullina Batima for the business project “Production of skin care cosmetics FLORA”. The 2nd place was awarded to the 2nd year students of the educational program “Accounting, analysis and audit at the enterprise” of the School of Business of the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbaev Manasova Gita, Kostanayeva Aida, Uakhit Nurai for the business project “Smart parking management using artificial intelligence”. The 2nd place was won by the 4th year student of the educational program 6B04106–Finance Nikolaeva Gonzha for the business project “Organization of the national gambling business”. The 3rd place was awarded to the 3rd year students of the educational program 6B04102–Economics Duisekenov Ruslan and Shapiev Bibars. Also, the 3rd place was awarded to the 4th year student of the educational program 6B04106–Finance Sembaeva Ainaru for the business project “Bilim beru – oiyn-sauyk bagytyndagy balalar ortalyktaryn damytu”. Also, students and magistrands Korob Marina for the business project “Restaurant of Georgian cuisine”, Gabdullina Sofia for the business project “Beauty salon “V obraze””, Zaprometova Daryia for the business project “Creation of a company in the agricultural sector”, Saparov Timur for the business project “Opening a hotel for animals”, Baibosynova Aidana for the business project “Tokyma sheberkhanasy”, Mashtakov Nikita for the business project “Making furniture for animals” were awarded in nominations. The rest of the participants received certificates.
