On November 22, 2024, in accordance with the Work Plan of the IOT, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety held a round table on the topic “Some aspects of the design of the textbook for obtaining the recommendation of the RUMS on OP 6B11201 – Life safety and environmental protection” with the participation of teachers of the Institute. During the round table, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Shirvanov R.B. informed the participants about the current requirements and rules for the design of a textbook, obtaining an international standard ISBN number, and the procedure for submitting documents to receive a recommendation for publication by the Republican Educational and Methodological Council (RUMS). The problems and difficulties encountered in the preparation and submission of documents became the subject of active discussion among the participants of the round table. The event was held in an atmosphere of interest, and its goal was achieved.
