We have been actively conducting career guidance work with schoolchildren and graduate courses of colleges in West part of KZ for a number of years. The results of this work are analyzed in order to identify problems. We hold an “Open Day” for schoolchildren of our city, faculty teachers conduct master classes in specialties for college graduates, all this contributes to the dissemination of information about our faculty and its educational programs within specific educational institutions, helping applicants to orient themselves correctly and in a timely manner in the world of modern professions. A number of events are held for this purpose. So, from April 3 to April 25, employees of our department conduct field advertising events in the Mangystau region. According to the data of admission to the university, a large percentage are applicants of the Mangystau region. These days, active career guidance work is carried out in rural schools Akshukur, Telman, Kuryk, Shetpe, Zhanaozen. The administration of schools and colleges provides great assistance in organizing career guidance in educational institutions of the region.
