Another piece of good news came from the Italian city of Turin, on the last day of the Winter Universiade, in the men’s 5000 m short track relay, our athletes won a bronze medal!

Yesterday, in the mixed relay, our student athletes took third place and gave impetus to the fans of our country.

Alina Azhigaliyeva, a 3rd-year student majoring in Physical Education and Sports at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, and Alisher Abulkatimov, a 2024 graduate in the same specialty, once again contributed to the successful completion of today’s competition.

Alina Azhigaliyeva, as part of the national team that defended the honor of the country, won a bronze medal in the 2000-meter mixed relay, thereby becoming a two-time Universiade medalist. (silver medal in Lake Placid, USA, January 12-22, 2023).

A magnificent victory, a wonderful performance!
