On the occasion of the “National Book Day”, which is celebrated for the first time in 2025 on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a republican book festival was held on April 21, organized by the regional Central Universal Scientific Library named after Zh. Moldagaliev on the theme “National Heritage and the World of Books: Continuity of Epochs”.
The event included exhibitions, creative evenings, a book parade, a platform for national games, a master class, intellectual games and theatrical performances. The event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, poets and writers, employees of cultural institutions, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, and library readers.
Librarians of the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University organized a special exhibition of research and educational works of the faculty of the university. The exhibition was awarded a letter of thanks on behalf of the director of the regional library named after Zh. Moldagaliev, Sh. Urazaeva.
